FAQs

Q: My order is yet to be executed.

A: We don’t have visibility of customer orders for security reasons but there are a few things to note.

If your order is a market order it won’t execute until there is a counter party in the market. So if it’s a buy order, there should be someone willing to sell and vice versa. If it’s a limit order it will behave like the market order but there is an extra condition for the limit price to be reached.

You can check bid and ask prices before you place an order to see what other parties are willing to pay. This can help you fix your price to enable your order execute more quickly. Some stocks are more liquid than others meaning there are some popular stocks that will execute faster than others.

You can check the status of your order by going to the Orders page. If your order is still open you can cancel it here.

Q: When creating an account, typically how many days will it take for the account to become active? And if the application is sent on a weekend, will the time to account activation be different?

A: It typically takes two days. However sometimes we get delays from CSCS which we have no control over. When there is a delay we normally send an email to notify our customers.

On the weekend, we start processing applications immediately, but because there is a backlog at the beginning of the week it usually ends up taking a total of 3days.

Q: When I sell stocks on the app, how long before it reflects in my wallet?

A: When stocks are sold it’s immediately available for to re-investment. However, it will take 3 days to be able to withdraw such funds into a bank account.

Q: How long does it take to transfer from my wallet to my personal bank account?

For balance that has been cleared for withdrawal in your wallet, you will be able to withdraw it instantly. But for proceeds of a recent stocks sale, it will take three days to clear and be made available for withdrawal.
