The Problem
The Nigerian Stock market gained 43% in 2017, 3rd in the world for stock markets. Unfortunately, with poor domestic investor participation(2%), most citizens are missing out on this huge opportunity to create wealth.
Participation is painful - Investors still have to fill paper forms, or send emails to trade, only one brokerage firm offers a trading app. Companies are missing out on opportunities to raise capital, brokerage firms are missing out on potential to earn from volume transactions - Everyone's missing out & it hurts!
The Solution
Yochaa is a software platform we built to address this. It comprises of Yochaa Mobile App for individual users & Yochaa Software Service for brokerage firms.
The Question
Can we re-write the African narrative?
Africa is often referred to as the sleeping giant with great potential. While this is sad to hear, it unfortunately is our reality. Our experience of living in Africa & Europe tells us we could do a lot to wake the giant up. At our core we are driven by the need to re-write the African narrative. This is why we created Yochaa.
We poured our heart, soul and creativity into Yochaa with hopes to trigger a change in the African narrative.
